“Go to the Ant…”

019939-012If you find yourself anywhere near the Florida panhandle this weekend, you’re free to join me at the Evolution & Ethics conference in Tallahassee. The event was organized by philosophers Michael Ruse and Robert J. Richards, is being hosted by FSU’s world-renowned History and Philosophy of Science program, and will feature speakers from no fewer than four different continents. On Friday morning, I’ll be discussing the prolific career of America’s most famous biologist (and the world’s foremost expert on ants), E. O. Wilson, including his recent endorsement of multilevel selection. To learn about the other speakers, their topics, or the conference in general, follow this link.
